The Music Prodigy team have an unrelenting drive to innovate tools, technologies and services to spread music education. Harold has led the Music Prodigy development and engineering team while recruiting world class music technology and education talent.

In 2013, Harold, Roger Dannenberg, Zeyu Jin, Richard Gard and others filed another patent for real-time vocal quality performance evaluation. In 2009, he and Roger Dannenberg patented the underlying real-time polyphonic pitch detection technology powering Music Prodigy. In addition to performing duties like design, copywriting, music composition and recording, he also launched Guitar Center's' marketing assets and planning intranet, along with a centralized advertising media distribution for in-store advertising. He grew and led radio advertising and direct marketing from a regional 18-store chain to a national 214-store chain. Prior to Co-founding Music Prodigy in 2008 with Tyson Butler, Harold was Director of Marketing at Guitar Center. As students, teachers and scientists, music, education, technology and innovation are part of Music Prodigy's DNA. The Music Prodigy team: unlocking music potential in humans is our PASSION and EXPERTISE.

Virtually anyone with a smartphone has access to Music Prodigy’s Expert Ear™. Real-time polyphonic pitch recognition on MOBILE.NO DELAY in hearing and evaluating, so you as a student can react and adjust IN REAL-TIME while you’re playing the note itself (if your feedback is delayed even one second, that’s too late! The note is over and you can’t adjust that note – that note has come and gone.) The ability to recognize multiple notes played at one time – a chord – like on piano or guitar. The ability to recognize what notes you are playing, like understanding what words are spoken. Feel the study-proven effect and get your brain to the right temperature with NeuroNation brain training. At the core of all of Music Prodigy’s platforms and products is the one-of-a-kind, unsurpassed “real-time polyphonic pitch recognition” listening technology, which is also called “automated music evaluation.” It is why with Music Prodigy, it’s NOW POSSIBLE for every human to unlock his or her musical potential: In just 5 minutes, brain training prepares our brain for upcoming tasks and improves performance.

Learning from the study: Warm up your brain before cognitive tasks. These findings may indicate that brain training can improve children’s learning ability even better than tutoring. The analyzed effect is more significant compared to studies, which examined the impact of tutoring. Remarkable is the lasting effect of the brain boost.

In solving brain-training tasks, the kids reached a higher degree of concentration and were able to directly learn and retain new information. In psychology, Priming is the activation of associations based on previous experience. The scientists explain this finding with the Priming Effect. The results are promising: compared to an untrained control group, the children significantly improved their performance at school material. Over the course of four months, 200 participants performed a brain-training course three times a week. The result: The kids’ attention span improved immediately after the session and showed significant lasting improvements in the overall performance after a 4-month training course. This time, they analyzed the effect of a 5-minute warm-up brain-training session on the performance of kids at school. Scientists from Yale University are bringing good news again.
